XTEN-AV Enhances XAVIA AI BOM Upload to Turn Raw Product Lists Into Design-Ready BOM

XAVIA AI BOM upload extracting AV products from an external file into a design-ready BOM in X-DRAW

AV pre-sales teams can upload external BOM files through XAVIA, review matched products in X-DRAW, and add supporting items without rebuilding equipment lists manually.

Las Vegas, USA: 10/06/2026: XTEN-AV has made the BOM upload capability better with XAVIA, its AI agent for audio visual design and documentation. The update helps pre-sales engineers, estimators, and AV designers turn a list of products into BOM (Bills of Materials) that they can review in X-DRAW, eradicating the need to enter each item manually.
AV professionals regularly receive equipment lists from clients, consultants and architects before commencing the design work. These lists may come in formats like spreadsheets, CSV files, or PDFs. Product names, model numbers, and quantities often need to be checked, organized, and matched before the list can become a usable starting point for an AV design.
That preparation can slow down the early stages of a project, especially when teams are working against proposal deadlines or managing multiple opportunities at once.
With the improved BOM upload capability, users can submit a supported BOM file directly through the XAVIA chat interface. XAVIA extracts the product information, matches the listed equipment and organizes the items into a structured BOM within X-DRAW. The user can review the extracted items before confirming the upload.
XAVIA can also suggest complementary products that may be missing from the original list. Users have control of the final BOM and can accept or reject the recommended additions before moving forward.
“An incoming equipment list is rarely ready for design work as soon as it reaches a pre-sales team,” said Sahil Dhingra, Co-Founder and CEO of XTEN-AV. “Someone still has to review the file, organize the products, identify missing items and prepare the BOM before the project can move ahead. This enhancement gives AV professionals a faster starting point while keeping the final decisions in their hands.”

From External Product List to Structured BOM

The enhanced BOM upload capability is designed to reduce repetitive preparation work at the beginning of an AV project.
Users can:
  • Upload supported BOM files through the XAVIA chat interface
  • Import product lists without rebuilding the file in a fixed template
  • Review extracted and matched products before finalizing the upload
  • Organize imported items within X-DRAW design
  • Consider AI-recommended complementary products before confirming the BOM
  • Accept or decline recommendations based on the project requirements
The update is intended to help AV professionals move more efficiently from an external equipment list to a structured BOM that can support the next stage of design, documentation, and pricing review.

Live Demonstration at InfoComm 2026

XTEN-AV will demonstrate the enhanced XAVIA BOM upload capability at InfoComm 2026, held June 17–19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. During the demonstration, attendees will be able to see how XAVIA Audio Visual (AV) AI Agent processes a raw product list, organizes the equipment within X-DRAW, and presents the imported BOM for review. The demonstration will also show how AI-supported recommendations can help teams identify supporting products that may have been overlooked in the original file. AV integrators, consultants, designers, and pre-sales teams can visit XTEN-AV at Booth N8256 in the North Hall.
