LAS VEGAS, USA – June 18, 2026: XTEN-AV, an AI-powered cloud-based platform for AV design, proposals, project delivery, and service management will showcase its new AI Connection Check capability in X-DRAW at InfoComm 2026, taking place June 17-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. The feature gives AV designers and engineers a faster way to validate complex audio-visual drawings before documentation is finalized or sent to the field.
AI Connection Check in X-DRAW is designed to help AV system designers, signal flow engineers and project engineers catch connection issues earlier in the design phase. As AV systems become more complex, design accuracy has become more important. invalid signals, loose cables and unknown connector pairs can create confusion during installation and increase the risk of expensive field mistakes.
With AI Connection Check, users can click the “Check Connections with AI” button in the X-DRAW toolbar. This helps AV professionals review AV system drawings without extra setup. The AI reviews connections across the drawing and flags issues into three categories: invalid connections, double check warnings and loose connections.
Invalid connections check cable runs where source and target signal types do not match. Double-check warnings show when AI predictions do not match the connection. This includes “No match” signal gaps and “Unknown pair” connector compatibility gaps. Loose Connections flag cables where one end is not connected to any device port.
